Fribsee (sp) Golf

I have finally found a sport that my son likes to do...and one that my two little girls enjoy: Frisbee Golf...aka fribsee golf (where are the clubs, when do we hit the ball, where is the hole). We went last week while we were on vacation and brought new meaning to the term traversing slopes. We went up and down ski slopes and threw discs in the process. My son loved it and kept asking to do more. Today I introduced the younger two younger girls on a much flatter, albiet more treed course. They thought it was grand fun, and as long as we avoided attempting to keep score, we did as well (I made it in the hole!!!! Cheers all around.). It was yet another good excuse to go traipsing through the woods. Ahhh...the joy of the great outdoors!!!

Winter Blues

Aaaagh...I hate the winter doldrums, when you can't really get out (if you usually take toddlers with you on your hikes). I cannot wait until Spring starts to bloom and I can get the little ones out with my "treasure finder" and we can go exploring. What a fun way to get them out of the house, and seeing their wide wide world.
